Well, it took over two months for the players of Burton to get their shit together to play, and it required the return of Stefan, Bernie and Tony from the Lower Mainland to get it going. It barely got going at that thanks to various complaints about heat, time, and other miscellaneous grievings, but at 7:30 the session finally started. It wouldn�t be long, but it was painful for most of those involved. The lack of preparation and of recent hockey playing (as well as the past night�s �activities�) meant that hockey quickly took its toll on those involved. With lungs screaming for air and the sun quickly receding, only two games were played in a lacklustre session that still managed to produce some excellent goaltending, at least. A big shout out to Tony, playing his first session in five yearly with barely half a stick blade. Oliver was a one-man wrecking crew dominating equally on offense and defense. Seamus was a human shooting gallery and Justin stood on his head in net.

The first game pitted Stefan, Tony, Bernie and Chris against Seamus, Oliver and Justin. Seamus and Oliver orchestrated a 5-0 blowout, outshooting their tired opponents 22-9. It was time for a switch for the second game and so Seamus was traded for Tony. This even things out a bit. Oliver was the only one to really hold his stamina throughout and set Tony up for three goals. They almost won but two quick goals from the Klopp-O�Connor combo sealed the game. Justin flirted with the all-time session goaltending record all night but those last two goals dropped him to .904, easily tops this year and third-best all-time. Chris also overcame major fatigue to post .762. Seamus had 8 points and Oliver each had 7 points to notch first and second star honours while Tony, Stef and Bernie each had three points. Seamus had 37 shots in just the two games, easily more than twice anyone else had.

Seamus moves in second in shots, ten behind Dallas while Justin ties Kyle for fifth. Justin is the fourth goalie this year to post a shutout. He also moves into second in saves. His .904 is the best performance in net this year by 75 points. On the all-time front, Oliver is just 14 points away from 900 and passes 1700 shots. Justin needs six points for 600 and three shots for 1300. He also passes Lorne for fourth in games played. Chris needs 50 saves to become the second person to reach 2000. Justin�s session, as aforementioned, is the third-best goaltending session of all-time and only the third session to go above .900. Session streak records are not applicable as only two games were played, except for consecutive sessions; Oliver�s streak goes to 18 while Seamus and Justin have the next longest at five. Dallas continues to lead the SDF for a ninth straight session, the third-longest streak ever. Biggest change sees Lee dropping to sixth behind K.J. and Pat plummeting eight spots to 16th. The GDF remains static with Nathan on top, his ninth total session (now second all-time).
