Like clockwork, another Sunday, another session of hockey in Vancouver. The sun was not shining today, but nor was it raining, which made for favorable conditions for the 8 players who showed up for VRH today.

Once again we would see the rivalry of Dom vs. Sam in goal. Add to the mix the Koth-Kappus brothers, the Hajdu brothers, Andrew and Jordan Barlow and we had ourselves enough players to get some solid 3-on-3 action. Your not-so-humble Vancouver statistician was also there to cover the event. Like last week in Burton, a camera was setup for time lapse. However unlike last week, Stefan came ill-prepared with a battery that only had about ¼-left juice in it. Despite this, the first hour of the session was capture, and a video was produced.

As for the action, it was relatively well-balanced all day, despite a few anomalies. The first game of the day was an example of this. The game featured Andrew, Bernie, Rob and Dom up against Oliver, Jordan, Tony and Sam. Team Dom would win decisively 5-1 with Rob pointing out and Andrew coming 1 shy. Game 2 of the series saw team Dom win again, however this team by a much closer score of 5-4. Sam elevated his game, as did his players in front of him, but in the end it wasn't enough.

Teams were switched for game 3 giving us Bernie, Jordan, Tony and Dom up against Andrew, Oliver, Rob and Sam. The game was close and fierce, however, and would end with a golden goal scored by Team Dom. Game 4 wouldn't be so kind to Team Dom. While they were able to put up 3 goals in the loss, they were severely out shot, and by severely I am talking 69-20. Dom stood on his head doing everything he could besides score goals for his team. This game was a grind for both teams, and at this point, it was unsure if the session would carry on.

However, the series was not finished, so everyone rallied for Game 5 and the last game in the series. Team Dom came out shooting fast, and would quickly seal the series with a 5-3 victory. A difference in shots from the previous game as this one ended 19-13 in shots in favor of Team Sam.

The final series of the day would feature the Hajdus with Oliver and Sam against the rest. With the Hajdus united they came out strong and fierce scoring 2 goals apiece to put the game at a score of 4-1 and what seemed out of reach. Andrew didn't think so however, as he went on to point out and score 4 of the 5 goals to mount the epic comeback.

The last game of the day would feature these same two teams, however it was less of a equal affair. Jordan and Andrew started to get some chemistry, while Bernie showed off his passing skills in this 5-2 rout.

That was that. 7 games in the books, on a somewhat dreary day. Keep an eye out for the time lapse. There are some fun little sequences in there. As always there may be a few easter eggs for you to find as well!

I tried a lower FPS but it started looking choppy (this was 20 fps). I think if I could get it to fire every 1/2 second it would be perfect. Perhaps next time.

Can you guys spot Rob's ass?

Definitely love the part where Tony is looking in the cam, then gets beat over the head by Rob.

My wheel makes an appearance at a buck 12. It took me a while to figure out what it was.

That time lapse is much better; what shots per second did you use on it? I still think though having it a tiny bit slower would be even cooler.
