Thanks, Bern! Andy’s pointout in Game 6 was enough to move him ahead of Rob in session scoring, leaving Mr. Smart with 10G-10A on 56 shots compared to Rob’s 9G-8A on 62 shots. Oliver nearly caught Rob at the end with 9G-7A, edging Stefan out for third. In goal, Stuart’s return was huge as he grabbed a shutout en route to .846 with 110 saves. Dom was solid at .811 and 103 saves. With the first shot of the session, Dom became the first goalie in Burton Hockey history to face 10,000 shots on goal.

Season Stats: While Stefan holds a solid 50 points lead over Oliver on top, 194-144, Rob and Andrew have knocked the absent Darrel out of the top five. Rob now trails Ryan 138-128 for third with Andy right behind at 125... Stefan becomes the first (and likely only) player to score 100 goals this year... The race for second in goals is very tight: Ryan sits at 69, Oliver 66, Rob 64, and Darrel 62... Andrew may be making a late run for the assist title, passing Oliver for second and now trailing Stefan by 91-80... Rob passes Darrel for fifth and Trails Ryan for fourth, 69-64... Rob trails Darrel for third in shots, 338-335... Dom becomes the first goalie to make 1,000 saves in 2012... Ryan and Stuart pass Darrel for fifth and sixth in games played, 56-53-52... Stuart records his fourth session of the year... Andrew now trails K.J. for the lead in three-star points by just 95-90... Rob passes Kyle for third in three-star points, 70-65... Stuart ties Bron and Brodie for second in goalie star points with 70... Ryan falls from third to fifth in GPG behind Stefan and K.J... Rob jumps past Nick into second in shots per game at 7.28... Rob’s 62 shots today ranks third amongst Burton sessions this year and is the highest total in VRH this year... Stuart’s 956 PPS is the fifth-highest mark this year.

SDF/GDF: K.J. rules the roost on the SDF for an 11th consecutive session, but his totals will start dropping next session, allowing Kyle or newly-third place Andrew a shot at the top... Rob makes his way around Darrel into fourth... Ryno takes a hit from third to sixth... Dropping a bad session off his total temporarily brings Zac back one last time into the top ten... Oliver finally gets back over the session minimum after his summer break and climbs seven spots to 13th... Watch out, Bron, for here comes Stu on the GDF. Stu has almost caught Bron and barring something weird will take over the top spot next session.
