-Glorious sunshine scale: 4/10 (after being sunny all week a thin cloud layer moved in in the morning)
-Temperature scale: 9/10 (about as close to an ideal temperature as it gets for hockey)
-Perfect number of players scale: 4/10 (no subs made things a little more difficult than usual)
-New players scale: 0/10
-Return of long absent regulars scale: 7/10 (Both Griff and Derek Wiggins – no relation to the basketball phenom – made their returns)
-Evenness of teams/series scale: 4/10 (the first couple games were a bit lopsided but the last game proved to be a close one)
-Session intensity scale: 5/10
-Session openness / offensiveness scale: 7.5/10 (with occasional 2on2 and a lot of exhaustion in general, the game was quite open with a fair amount of rushes today)
-Domination by one player scale: 4/10 (Andy was his usual solid self, and Derek had a very strong showing as well)
-Redemptions Achieved Scale: 6/10 (one pretty massive redemption comeback for Dom's team in the last game, to win it after being down 4-2)
-Epicness of Games Scale: 6/10 (the last game proved fairly epic with a long drawn out comeback)
-Exceptional goaltending performance scale: 7.5/10 (the stats may not quite reflect it today due to the large volume of high quality chances but there was some phenomenal goaltending by both goalies today)
-Shots on own goalie scale: 9.3/10 (about 4 accidental ones by Bernie, topped only by an INTENTIONAL shot on his own goalie – Stu - by Rob after he forgot which end was his)
-Length of session scale: 3/10 (with no subs, 3 games over 2 hours had everyone pretty spent)
-Fun of session scale: 7/10 (great to finally get out there again after an almost 2 month break)
-Chance of future sessions in coming weeks scale: 4/10 (tough to say, many factors have to align perfectly for sessions to happen these days)

Thanks, Bern! With six skaters, there were lots of points up on the board, and two players led the way. Garnering the first first-star performance of his career was Derek (5G-6A), who tied Andrew (7G-4A) for the lead. Just two points behind was Griff at 5G-4A. In goal, Stu was on fire at .883, the best mark of his burgeoning Burton career, while Dom settled for .720.

Game Scores:
Griff Derek Andy Stu def. Bernie Oliver Rob Dom 5-1
Derek Oliver Rob Stu def. Andy Griff Bern Dom 5-3
Andy Oliver Griff Dom def. Rob Derek Bernie Stu 5-4

Length of session: 2h 00 min

Season Stats: With many of the leading scorers away, Andy and Rob make up some ground. Andy moves into third in scoring ahead of Ryan Disterheft, and trails Stefan Klopp for second, 92-83, while Rob knocks Thomas Slivinski out of the top five at 72 points and Oliver enters the top ten... Andy passes Tony Hajdu for fifth in goals, 33-29... Andrew jumps from fifth to second in shots on goal with 253, just two ahead of Rob... Stu lead Dom in saves, 867-822... Bernie has played in all 53 VRH games this year; Rob ties Stefan for fifth in games played with 37... Andy passes Ryan for fifth in GPG at 1.18, but falls behind Jordan for the APG lead, 1.82-1.79... Andy takes his shots-per-game average back over 9.00... Stuart passes Dom for second in saves-per-game at 18.45... Stu's .883 is the third-best session save percentage this season.

SDF/GDF: Neil leads his seventh career SDF ranking, but Andrew makes major progress toward getting the top position back, jumping two spots to second and closing right in on Neil. The absent Darrel jumps up to third ahead of Tom and Stefan... After spending two rankings in second place, Stu takes back the top of the GDF for sixth time in his career, deposing Bron Mach.

All-Time Session Milestones & Streaks

On the All-Time Front: Oliver is 33 points away from the magical 3,000 point mark... Bernie is three points away from 1,800...Griff becomes the 42nd player with 150 points... Andy is 42 shots on goal away from 3,000... Andy needs five more games for 400... Stuart passes Alex Elischer to become the all-time leading goaltender by save percentage in VRH history... With just three games played today, session scoring streaks and save streaks were not on the line, however, save percentage streaks were, and Stuart is now just one .800 from tying Bron's record of 15 .800s in a row... Stu ties Justin Gordon for sixth in all-time.800s with 26... Stu has four straight .820s and ties Laird Bilinski and Justin for sixth in .820s at 19... Stu ties Shem Hanna for seventh in .830s with 14 and also has four in a row... Stu records his third .860, second .870, and first-ever .880... Bernie's consecutive session streak goes to 29, the ninth-longest streak ever...
