The younger brother of VRH goaltending stalwart Dominik, the Swiss phenom debuted in September 2009 notching star points his first out. Quietly but surely over the years, Darrel has emerged as a top scoring threat, and 2012 was the year his talents rose to the fore and smacked his fellow VRHers in the face. Darrel was high up in the scoring race all year and an easy choice for Most Improved Player, just barely missing the All-Star team. Now one of VRH's top skaters, he was even better in 2013, netting Most Improved honours for a second year in a row, and bested that even moreso with a dominant 2014 in which he captured his first scoring title.
