Perhaps the most hyped rookie of an awesome 2011 crop, Ryan astounded the BUSH crew by not only tying the all-time rookie record for assists in a session with 11 but then going in goal and posting .871 including two shutouts, a season-best for Burton Hockey. Ryan would go on to be the most dominant rookie of the 2011, capped off by a scintillating .925 goaltending performance at that year's Fuller Cup and a healthy award haul including being named not only rookie of the year but the top goaltender and dual threat in BUSH for 2011. Ryan followed up by being one of the major players in the 2012 Nakusp Arena League and is a force to be reckoned with in the future for sure whenever he's back in Nakusp.
