The story of Jerod Jacobsen is one of the more interesting in Burton hockey history. He was just hanging around at the rink waiting for a ride back to Edgewood that wasn't to come for a few hours yet. We needed a goalie. we had no idea who this kid was (and still don't, really), but he performed admirably that hot Burton night. He couldn't have been more than 12.
