Part 2 of our amazing BUSH triple-header from Leeroy:

Back to Backs sessions and the BUSH league is rolling. A five game session with some new blood. Steve Cain.
Game 1: Lee - Seamus - Justin vs. KJ - Steve - Graeme - Nathan Old school rules. 5-0 shutout for Justin. Unfortunately Steve breaks his stick not 5 minutes in and is forced to play the rest of the session with a skinny wrong handed stick.
Game 2: Lee - Graeme - Nathan vs. KJ - Seamus - Steve - Justin Some revenge for the O'Connor brothers. An endless game, with Lee just unable to bury any shots despite being once again a deadly duo with Graeme. Seamus powers his team to a 5-3 win scoring all 5 goals.
Game 3: Lee - KJ - Steve - Nathan vs. Seamus - Graeme - Justin A convincing 5-3 win for Lee's Team. KJ scores his first goal of the night.
Series 1: Lee - Seamus - Nathan vs. Graeme - KJ - Steve - Justin
Game 1: 5-4 Team Graeme.
Game 2: 5-4 Team Lee. A grueling battle to end the night, capped by a 5-4 comeback win powered by various solo efforts by Lee and Seamus.

Thanks, Lee. The slightly cooler weather has allowed BUSH to get back into its groove. The Pavel ratio reigns supreme again as the typically evenhanded Seamus has a very un-Seamus like session, scoring 15 goals while notching just two assist. Lee also had 17 points to share first star (11G-6A), but posted another insane shot total in the process with 67 shots in just five games. It was the youngest O'Connor's turn to be an even distributor as K.J. claimed third star with 5G, 5A. In net, Justin is making a big case for goalie of the year this year by posting an excellent .861; he is now averaging .839 for the season. Nathan returned to form by climbing back over .800 at .801.

Useless Stats: Biggest change in the scoring race sees Graeme moving into fifth, needing just one point for 100 on the year. K.J. moves into the top ten in scoring. Seamus passes 100 goals on the year as Graeme has his second 50-goal season. Lee passes the surprisingly absent Oliver for the lead in assists, 94-91. Graeme passes Mitch for fifth in season shots. Nathan is 58 saves behind Chris for first. Seamus passes Oliver for second in games played. Nathan is two games behind Chris for first in games goaltended. Justin joins Nathan as the only goalies to post multiple 2006 shutouts. Seamus reaches 100 three-star points while K.J. moves into fifth place in that category. Seamus moves up to third in PPG and fourth in GPG. Lee goes over 9 shots-per-game and passes Seamus for first. Seamus' 15 goals marks the fifth-highets session total this year; Lee's 67 shots are the fourth-highest session total this year, and Justin's .861 is fourth in that regard. While Lee holds onto the lead in the SDF, there are massive changes below him as the inactivity of VRH causes their players to plummet, most notable Stefan from second to 14th. Seamus moves up three spots to second and is closing the gap on Lee. Justin continues to widen his gap atop the GDF with impressive play.

On the all-time front: Lee needs five points to reach 800 while Seamus passes 700. Seamus needs 13 goals for 400. K.J. needs five goals for 250. Lee is seven assists behind Lorne for third. Lee passes 2,000 shots and is only 47 behind Oliver for second all-time. K.J. needs 20 shots for 1,000., and has passed Laird for eighth (he is nine behind Joern). Graeme passes Simon for 13th in shots. Justin reaches .800 in net for his career. Lee reaches 300 games played and Graeme reaches 200. Justin needs three games in net to reach 100. Justin also moves into second in career shutouts. Lee's 135 goals currently ranks as the fourth-highest single-season total. His current season total of 649 ranks second. Lee needs the equivalent of one first-star to tie Lorne for most three-star points in a season. Seamus records his 18th 10-goal session, tying Justin for third all-time. This was his 28th 15-pointer, tying Oliver for third, four behind Lee. Lee's consecutive session streak goes to 15, while Seamus' goes to six and Graeme's five. Steve becomes Burton's 87th player. VRH is still at least two weeks away from their next session, so BUSH has the opportunity to really put the screws to them now. Check out the Records and Honours page before you go.
