Some semi-belated stats from Lee. Consider this a sampler for the Monday night session on the 28th.

Justin and Graeme got the day off work, so we decided to play a day session before the inevitable debauchery that would be Isamu's closing down party.

Series 1: Lee Justin Nathan vs. Graeme Ollie Mitch Seamus
Game 1: 5-4 Graeme
Game 2: 5-2 Graeme
Not one of Nathan's better performances, combined with less than stellar play from Lee and Justin resulted in clear victory for Team Graeme. They utilized the extra man and quickly exhausted Lee and Justin. Mitch led the way with 4G 3A and Seamus made some nice saves to hold Lee to only 5 goals.

Series 2: Lee Oli Seamus vs. Graeme Justin Mitch Nathan
Game 1: 5-2 Lee
Game 2: 5-4 Lee
Lee scored all 10 goals as Seamus and Oli took care of the defense in the most closely contested contest of the day. Nathan did the blocker and stick toss, disgusted with all manner of things. Not the greatest session, hopefully Monday will be a return to form. Looking forward to the return of the statsman!

Thanks, Lee! And, yes, for those wondering, it took until Sunday night for these to get to me. But they're here. And Lee was in full force, figuring in on every team goal (and scoring all but one of them) for 15G, 1A, 48S in four games. Oliver was rock-solid on defense with two goals and nine helpers. Mitchell picked up third star at 6-and-3, and Graeme scored eight goals. Seamus was badass in net, finishing up at .855; he now must warrant some consideration for goalie of the year. Nathan was ninety points behind this day and is openly seeking revenge.

Useless Stats: Now at 313 points, Lee becomes just the third player to reach 300 points in one year; he is thirteen points away from breaking Lorne' all-time single season scoring record of 325 set back in 2000. Mitch jumps from eleventh to ninth in season scoring, giving BUSH a majority of scorers in the top ten. Lee needs eight goals to reach 200 and 21 goals to set the single-season record there. Graeme passes Stefan for third in goals. Oliver narrows Lee's assist lead to nine, as Seamus passes the 100-assist mark. Lee sets a new single-season record for shots with 887. Graeme and Oliver pass 400 shots. Mitch passes Stefan for fifth in shots. Seamus moves up to third in save percentage; Nathan drops to fifth. Seamus moves to fourth in saves. Seamus and Lee close in on the 100-game mark for the year. Oliver passes Graeme for third in three-star points. Justin falls to second in PPG. Lee goes over 2.00 GPG. The week's SDF gets altered a little bit by adding this BUSH session to Wednesday's VRH session; notable, Justin drops to sixth while Seamus moves up to fourth. The GDF, however, has produced the closest statistical battle ever. Remember, the GDF is a measure of save percentage over the past ten sessions based on a minimum of 13 games. Nathan's is .830909, while Seamus' is .830904! Amazing!

On the all-time front: Justin is now sitting on 666 points, eleven behind Bernie for fifth all-time. Lee needs three goals for 500 and 18 assists for 400. Seamus is twelve assists behind Lorne for fourth all-time. Nathan drops behind K.J. to third in save percentage. Nathan needs 78 saves to reach 3,000. Oliver needs one game to become the first player to play 600 Burton games. Justin is ten games behind Lorne for fourth. Lee is just ten points behind Lorne for the lead in all-time three-star points. Oliver passes Justin for fourth in three-star points. Seamus jumps from fifth to second in saves-per-game. Lee now has the second-highest scoring season ever, and the most shots ever in one year. Lee records his fourth consecutive ten-goal session, and moves into third in all-time 15-goal sessions with six. This was also Lee's sixth straight 15-pointer. Lee becomes the fourth player ever to play twenty consecutive sessions. Seamus has played 12 straight, Graeme ten and Justin nine. K.J.'s consecutive session streak ends at five. Check out the Records and Honours page before you go. I will be in Burton for Monday night's session and will have that session posted almost immediately afterward. Especially because the Paddy Wagon is closed Mondays.
