Kyle (Grenier) took the bull by the horns and organized hockey. I offered to drive the gear down, take pictures and keep stats. This session saw yet another rookie, Ryan, Kyle's brother. Ryan's son also helped keep stats and should receive honourable mention. Another future Burton Hockey star?

Series 1
Kyle - Scott – KJ vs. Troy – Mitch – Ryan
Team Kyle takes the series two games to one on the strength of Kyles 12 goals and 1 assist.
Game 1: 5-3 Troy
Game 2: 5-3 Kyle
Game 3: 5-1 Kyle

Series 2
Troy – Scott – KJ vs. Kyle – Mitch – Ryan
Despite KJ's best efforts team Kyle was too much. Outshot 2-1 it was a lopsided series. Scores unknown.

Series 3
Scott – Mitch – KJ vs. Kyle – Troy – Ryan
Team Mitch comes in the heavy underdogs but surprise with a big 5-4 overtime win. Goalies were outstanding in overtime, but Mitch beat Ryan with a long wrister to seal the game.

Thanks, Lee! (Don’t forget to check out Lee’s pics at the bottom of the page once they’re uploaded). Kyle ran away for the third time this year, knowing how much every session count in his quest to play catch-up to Stefan and take the scoring lead. Scoring an absurd 21 goals in the six game on 64 shots, Kyle easily took the day with 24 points. Troy and Mitch tied at 18 points, Troy taking more shots but Mitch scoring more goals. Any 2-on-2 featuring the Kyle/troy tandem is not a happy environment for Burton goaltenders. K.J. took the day in net .768 to .615 over Ryan in Ryan’s Burton debut.
Here are the game results:
Kyle Scott KJ def. Troy Mitch Ryan 3-5 5-3 5-1
Troy Scott KJ def. Kyle Mitch Ryan 2 games to 0
Scott Mitch KJ def. Kyle Troy Ryan 5-4
