Today's BUSH session featured scorching temperatures and the 47th player in the league this year in Nathan Wiebe. The statsman was sorely missed. Troy also suited up the pads for his first full goalie session ever.

Series 1:
Lee - Shem - Kyle - Mitch - Lyle vs. Ben - Nathan - Oliver - Troy
The first game was an endurance match with Team Ben winning 5-1. Both goalies faced 27 shots. The second game was a quicker route, with Team Ben winning 5-1.

Series 2:
Lee - Ben - Mitch - Troy vs. Kyle - Shem - Ollie - Lyle - Nathan
Team Ben wins easily 5-2 and 5-2.

Series 3:
Lee - Ollie - Mitch - Troy vs. Lyle - Kyle - Ben - Nathan - Shem
Teams are made for the final series and prove more even. Team Ben wins (again) 5-4 but loses game 2 5-2, then wins the final game 5-2.

Thanks, Lee. Another demoralising demolition of the BUSH crew by Ben today, as he went 13-and-13 to lead the day with 26 points. Lee was the only other player to reach 3.00 PPG at 12-and-9, with Mitch notching third star at 10-and-6. In goal, Troy Waldron is making a case for goaltender of the year in a season filled with outstanding netminding, stopping 108 shots and posting a save percentage of .837. To quote Lee: ‘Troy made the best save anyone’s had on me yet this year, classic down and out reach back, I had that (fornicator) labeled and somehow, somehow he got the glove out. I didn't even believe it at first, it was a great deke, I had the whole net and didn't spare the horses. Troy had an assist. A beauty too, one bouncer off the fence to spring me for the breakaway. Froze Lyle and went 5-hole. Niiiice.’ Lyle was steady at .796, stopping 117 shots.

Here are the game scores:
Ben Nathan Oliver Troy def. Lee Shem Kyle Mitch Lyle 5-1 5-1
Lee Ben Mitch Troy def. Kyle Shem Oliver Lyle Nathan 5-2 5-2
Lyle Kyle Ben Nathan Shem def. Lee Oliver Mitch Troy 5-4 2-5 5-2
