Today was about as evenly-distributed a session as you could expect from a session, with all five skaters within four points of one another. The difference maker was the 5-0 Game 2, which allowed Ryan (7G-8A) and Darrel (9G-5A) to take the top two spots. The brothers Hajdu tied for third at 12P each, with Bernie just a point shy of his first three-star points in a couple of seasons. The goalies were their usual solid selves, with Stu finishing at .833 compared to Dom’s .816. Stu made ten fewer saves overall but managed to grab the all-important Game 2 shutout in a 15-save performance.

Season Stats: VRH now has six games in hand on BUSH for the season, and today’s 2-on-2 action allowed the five skaters today to pile on the PPG. Most notably, Darrel extends his scoring lead over Rob, Oliver Koth-Kappus, and Seamus O’Connor to 66-51-51; Rob moving up three spots today. Rob raises his shots-per-game to 9.74, while Tony moves to third at 8.08... Rob’s 48 shots on goal rank fourth-highest so far this season for individual sessions.

SDF/GDF: Seamus continues to extend his lead atop the SDF BUSH players begin to cross back over the session minimum. One player that actually hasn’t done so yet is Ryan Bateman in third (still a half-session short), and he’s big threat to take the top spot the next time he plays... Nate McInnes crosses the threshold and jumps 12 spots to seventh behind Darrel, while Ryno comes up two more spots thanks to his win today... Graeme plummets from fourth to 13th, and Barlow sinks 17 spots to 24th... With the standings now final for the week, we also know that K.J. O’Connor has deposed Dom atop the GDF to take the top spot for the 21st time in his career. Stu and Andrew Likness both cross the session minimum and rise to third and fifth, respectively, as a result. The absent Bron falls four spots to sixth.
