Glorious sunshine scale: 2/10 (only a few pokes of the sun today)
Temperature scale: 8.5/10 (perhaps just tad too warm but pretty damn good overall for hockey)
Perfect number of players scale: 9/10 (one sub on each team)
New players scale: 0/10
Return of long absent regulars scale: 3/10 (the return of Ollie and Rob, but they've only been long absent because VRH has been really)
Evenness of teams/series scale: 5/10 (a few a pretty lopsided and a couple very close)
Session intensity scale: 8/10 (some very intense battles along the boards today resulting in an injury to Rob and some heated verbal sparing later on in the session)
Session openness / offensiveness scale: 7/10 (fair amount of rushes and grade A chances)
Redemptions achieved scale: 7/10 (team Stu with some good redemption to tie the initial series, but double reverse redemption by team Dom to win it)
Exceptional goaltending performance scale: 8/10 (both goalies extremely solid yet again)
Goalie Achieving Monumental Milestone Scale: 10000/10 (cheers rang out as Sam did a quick tally on the bench during the first game to realize that Dom had hit 10,000 saves, eclipsing the next nearest goaltender in Burton Hockey)
Domination by one player scale: 4/10 (fairly even, though Klopp was pretty instrumental in his teams' wins)
Length of session scale: 6/10 (a solid 4 games over about 3 hours)
Fun of session scale: 5/10 (still a fun session despite an injury and some heated scrums)
Chance of future sessions in coming weeks scale: 5/10 (next weekend may be out, but with Stu back in the fold there's a decent chance for sessions after that)

Thanks, Bern! A return to form from the Kloppster today, as he went 6G-8A to lead the day by one over the early leader for comeback player of the year, Tom, who led the day in goals with 7 and added 6A to claim second star (his first star points since 2010). Rounding the top three was Sam, the only other player in double digits at 2G-8A. Another stellar day in goal, with Dom notching .859 on 73 saves versus Stuart's .822 on 88 saves.

Season Stats: Lots on movement on the leaderboard today with the standings all jumbled up. Stefan takes the season scoring lead at 22, two points ahead of Tom and Sam at 20 apiece. Andy and Darrel sit at 18... Tom and Darrel share the goalscoring lead at 11, one ahead of Stefan... Stef and Sam share the assist lead at 12, one ahead of Andrew and two ahead of Tom... One of the few offensive stats that doesn't change the leader is shots on goal, with Andy holding tight at 67 followed by Darrel (62) and Tom (57)... Rob takes the shooting percentage lead at 22.22%, followed by Tom at 19.30%... Dom leads Stu in save percentage, .867-.823... The saves race is right with Stu narrowing Dom's lead to six (150-144)... Seven players have played in all seven games this year... This season is starting off like last season in terms of plenty of different players getting three star points. Sam is the only player to have picked up three-star points in both sessions and thus leads at 20 points with Stefan, Darrel, and Andy at 15 followed by Tom at 10... Dom has the total star point lead 30-20 over Sam... Stefan is the only player averaging over 3.00 PPG... Not surprisingly, all of the offensive season session highs so far come from this session... Dom's .859 save percentage and 932 PPS both rank second in session rankings so far this year... Stu's 88 saves tie Dom's 88 saves from the last session as the top marks this year.

SDF/GDF: It's Ryan Bateman's last hurrah for now atop the SDF, as last year's spring BUSH sessions begin falling off next time. Despite Andrew's slight step back today, he's still cued up to take over the top spot next session... Sam and Tom still haven't crossed the session minimum (both have played 1.75 sessions over the ranking period as Sam had a session from last April fall off today), so their being ranked fifth and sixth is amazing. If they were over the minimum, they'd both be in the 103s... Stefan jumps up two spots to eighth, while long-absent Tony falls under the session minimum and plummets from the top ten... No movement on thge GDF as everyone holds their positions and Bron leads for a fourth straight session and 34th overall, trailiong Seamus O'Connor (36) and Alex Elischer (35) on the all-time rankings-led list.
