-Glorious sunshine scale: 9/10 (another bluebird day)
-Temperature scale: 3.5/10 (with temps into the mid 20's getting the breeze off the water was a godsend)
-Perfect number of players scale: 5/10 (despite 2 subs for the later part of the session, it worked out not bad as people were starting to tire at that point anyways)
-New players scale: 0/10
-Return of long absent regulars scale: 8.5/10 (both Eric and Markus L. make their long-awaited returns)
-Evenness of teams/series scale: 5/10 (teams a little lopsided today, earlier in the possession department, later on the scoreboard)
-Session intensity scale: 7/10 (another intense grinder to start, which opened up a bit in the second half)
-Session openness / offensiveness scale: 5.5/10
-Domination by one player scale: 5/10 (Neil and Andy were a potent combo today)
-Redemptions Achieved Scale: 4/10 (Team Stu got redemption for the 1st game which they should have won)
-Epicness of Games Scale: 7/10 (Game 1 was an absolute epic, spanning well over an hour with the underdog team wining 5-4 on the back of Dom despite being massively outshot)
-Exceptional goaltending performance scale: 9/10 (another absolutely epic performance from the Domburgler in game 1 with 78 saves, more than a few of them miraculous ones; both goalies solid for rest of session)
-Stick Smashing scale 8/10 (a good stick smash over the fence railing from Rob after a “was it in” goal controversy)
-Length of session scale: 8/10 (5 games over about 3.5 hours in the heat)
-Fun of session scale: 8/10 (the nice weather is bringing players out in droves and everyone's having a blast)
-Chance of future sessions in coming weeks scale: 5/10 (One of our goalies being out of town the next couple weekends could throw a wrinkle into VRH for the next little while, but player numbers are looking really good these days)

Thanks, Bern! Another massive day for Dom in goal, with his final count being 154 saves on 174 shots for a final save percentage of .884, following up last week's 1043 PPS with a 1037 (the two best marks of the past four years). Stu also remains solid, although he faced fewer shots, posting .841 and 85 saves. Scoring-wise, the expected Andy-Neil-Darrel battle turned into a two-way shootout as Andrew potted 6G-11A to beat Neil (10G-6A) by a single point. In this spread-out session, the only other player in double digits was the returning Eric at 7G-3A (and he missed Game 5). We should also acknowledge a huge accomplishment as Bernie has tied his brother Oliver for the all-time Burton Hockey games-played lead at 1,545.

Season Stats: The season scoring race continues to heat up, just like the sweltering weather we've been having. Stefan, the last of the scoring leaders to have played in every game, leads new second-place man Andrew, 69-61. Darrel falls to third at 59, and the absent Tom now sits fourth at 44. Rob jumps to fifth at 34, narrowly ahead of Neil at 30. Ryan follows at 26, and then the absent Tony, Sam, and Oliver round out the top ten... Stefan takes a chunk out of Darrel's goalscoring lead, 37-31, while Neil enters the top five at 17... Andrew finally returns to his usual spot above the assist chart, tying Stefan at 39. Both are well ahead of Darrel at 23... The shots-on-goal battle is crazy-close, with Darrel (187) leading Andy by just a single shot and Stefan by just three. Rob ties Tom for fourth at 137... Despite losing nearly four percentage points, Darrel holds his shooting percentage lead just barely over Neil, 19.79%-19.32%... Dom's season save percentage goes up to .859... Dom leads Stu in saves, 611-518... Stu, Stefan, Bernie, and Dom still haven't missed a game' this is the first session that Tom has missed in 2015... Darrel's three-star point lead is under fire as Andrew closes the gap to 45-40; Neil moves ton third at 25... Stu leads Dom in goalie star and in total star points, both by a score of 75-70... Andrew moves to fourth in total star points at 40... Neil is now the only player left over 3.00 PPG as Darrel falls from second to fifth, and Stefan falls from third to sixth, bringing Andy up to fourth... Eric debuts second in GPG behind Neil and ahead of Darrel... Andrew takes the APG lead at 1.77, narrowly ahead of Jordan at 1.75 and Sam at 1.71; Neil falls from first to fifth behind Stefan... Neil stakes the shots-per-game lead at 9.33 ahead of Tom at 8.56; Darrel falls to third just ahead of Andy... Andy's 17 points in this session tie for the fourth-best mark of the year, while Neil's 16 rank fifth... Neil's ten goals rank third-best in sessions this year, while Eric's 7 tie for fifth... Andrew's 11 assists tie forthe top mark of the year... Neil's 52 shots on goal and Andy's 49 shots on goal rank second and third-highest this year, respectively... Dom's .884 is the second-best mark of the year, while his 153 saves set a new high... Dom's 1037 PPS is the second-highest mark of the year.

SDF/GDF: All hail a new SDF king as Neil Spencer crosses over the session minimum for the first time in his career and immediately takes a huge lead over last week's leader, andrew. Darrel falls three spots to fifth and Stefan falls two spots to fifth. Meanwhile, Jordan climbs up eight spots to ninth as he gets closer to the session minimum. The only BUSH skaters left on the ranking are the four who skated a single game at the Fuller Cup in September... Dom and Stu are now the only goalies above the session minimum for the GDF, meaning that they are basically the only two players that can top the ranking. Dom takes over for a 27th time (passing Nathan Robson for the fifth-most rankings led), but Stu's not so far behind that this won't be a battle.

Should have included Barlow in the 'Return of Long Absent Regulars', he's been such a mainstay over the years, totally forgot that it's been that long (about a year) since he's played. Heck that might have boosted the scale to a 9.2
