Another VRH session with evenly distributed scoring as five players finished within three points of each other. The most profitable day belonged to Rob, who went10G-8A en route to the day’s leading point total of 18. Tying for second star were assist machines Tony (6G-10A) and Oliver (5G-11A). Despite 12G, including all five in the final game for his team, Nick’s lack of assists left him out of the star points for the first time as he tied Stefan for fourth at 15P. In goal, it was another solid day for Stu as he is coming into his own as a go-to goalie in VRH; he beat out the returning Sam .820-770.

SDF/GDF: We won’t know for sure what the final rankings will look like until after Tuesday’s Arena session, but there is already huge upheaval, and if things stay as they are, it will be K.J. taking the SDF lead from Nick as Nick falls back to Earth a little bit. Making huge gains are the Hajdu brothers as they both come back over the session minimum. Rob moves up six to fourth place, and Tony rockets from 22nd to sixth... Stuart has passed Dom and sits third on the GDF while Sam passes Carter for fifth.

Anyway, it's corrected now. Ian is player number 195. We're closing in on the actual population of Burton now!

Not to mention, you know, Elo ratings, the SDF, the ACTUAL BOXSCORE, etc...

I thought "Ian" looked a little different last time he played, thought it was just my poor memory though; what are the odds of the Voser crew having a second friend named Ian who also plays roller hockey... I guess that fucks up a couple of values on the VWSS.
Kyle wrote on May 14, 2012 @ 16:41:20 PST
Jeez, you'd figure someone would have had the decency to tell me it was a completely different Ian.
It would indeed be Ian Fraser's first ever session.
Dom wrote on May 14, 2012 @ 16:33:45 PST
Hey, that wasn't Ian Bock who played yesterday... that was Ian Fraser (I think it was his first ever session).

Too bad I missed out on hockey! Hopefully be there next weekend.
