Elischer, Smart Obliterate Session Scoring Records

In a marathon 14-game VRH session at Ambleside Saturday, Pat Elischer and Andrew Smart rewrote the Burton Hockey record book.

Taking advantage of the long session, Elischer's prodigious point-scoring resulted in a record 54 points, far and away the highest session total ever seen in Burton Hockey, 50 points long having been considered untouchable. This record (which includes an equally amazing 38 goals) well surpasses the previous record of 42 set by Kyle Grenier at last August's BUSH SuperSession. Perhaps even more amazing is that mark of 38 goals, which erases the ten-year old record of 30 set by Dustin Blair in eight games back in the inaugural 2000 season.

Not to be left out this day was Andrew Smart. Not only did Smart also best Grenier's record with 44 points, he also destroyed Elischer's own record of 23 assists, taking it to an absurd 29 in the process. Burton Hockey congratulates Pat and Andrew on their amazing achievements. Congratulations as well go to the entire Saturday crew for playing a record 14 games in one day.

Had a lot of help, its impossible to get 29 assists without other people finishing the plays off!
