Research Report: Potential Rinks (Metro Vancouver)
Following last month's report on available rinks in the southern interior of BC, a number of VRH players have inquired about a look into rinks in Metro Vancouver. This is a big issue, as our home court of Ambleside Park is often too small to host full sessions, and other rinks on the North Shore and in Vancouver are often busy or are too big for our purposes.
This week, I have compiled a list of other available rinks in the Metro Vancouver area and the Sunshine Coast, covering all types of size and quality. The 79 MB Word document has descriptions and photos from 91 different rinks across Metro Vancouver (everything including Langley and Maple Ridge west). Many of you already have copies in your inbox. If you did not receive a copy, please leave a comment below and I will send you the list. For those also interested in the report on southern interior rinks who did not recieve a copy, I can send that to you as well. Remember, this is exploratory and neither of these reports are considered complete; we intend to keep finding new rinks and to update information on ones we already know about to create a truly thorough database.
