BUSH IS Dead, Long Live BUSH
Lee Orr announced today that Burton United Socialist Hockey (BUSH), the original league of Burton Hockey, will indeed return for a tenth season with play to begin immediately. The league, which had been rendered inactive since last summer with Orr's relocation out of the area, will come back on 5 April with an afternoon session. Having returned to Nakusp, Orr himself will be there for his tenth season of action, 29 points short of 1,000. K.J. O'Connor is also confirmed for this session, and Andrew Watson's name has also been bandied about. In any event, both leagues of Burton Hockey look healthy again for 2009.
