Elischer Equals Session Scoring Record

VRH star Pat Elischer made Burton Hockey history today by equalling Robert Rogers' longstanding record of 40 points in one session set on 27 May 2003, taking one fewer game to do so (Rogers also posted a mark of 36 points in just eight games, a slightly higher points-per-game for a high-scoring session). Elischer appears primed to go down as one of the top players to ever play in Burton Hockey. His 24 goals and 16 assists are both 2009 season highs, and his current points-per-game average of 3.74 is the highest mark ever for player with more than 70 career points.

Congrats Pat! Well done. That's one of the oldest records around. Hopefully I get a chance this fall to play some VRH.

Sad I had to miss this session to see some history made in VRH. I knew if you could get enough games in Pat could easily challenge for that record. Wish he could have broke it, but there is still plenty of time for that!

Congrats Pat on a fine session!
