Lee Orr Becomes All-Time Leading Scorer

On a cold, rainy afternoon in Burton, BC, Lee Orr made Burton Hockey history and passed Oliver Koth-Kappus for the all-time scoring lead.

Orr's goal to win Game 3 of Monday's session 5-0 tied him with Koth-Kappus at 1,631 points; Orr reaching the mark in 574 games to Koth-Kappus' 897. Orr would break the record at the beginning of Game 4, assisting on a goal from his brother Graeme. In fact, Lee would assist on all five of Graeme's goal in Game 4 to finish the session at 1,636 points (889 G, 747 A). Koth-Kappus had held the record since 12 April 2001, the first session of Burton's second season.
